Project Engineer
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to manage the preparation, scheduling, coordination, and monitoring of Audio-Visual (AV) projects. The ideal candidate will have strong networking skills, hands-on experience with Active LEDs, Crestron, Extron, and other AV control systems, and the ability to ensure seamless project execution.
This role involves direct client interaction, technical leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver projects efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Engineering / MCA.
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years in installation, commissioning, or maintenance of POCC / IT Systems / Control Systems.
- Prior experience in Operation Centres, Auditoriums, Convention Centres, Museums, or similar AV/IT environments is preferred.
- Strong understanding of networking principles; CCNA certification is an added advantage
- Excellent communication, coordination, and client-handling skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure Audio Visual systems as per project design and BOQ.
- Coordinate with PMC, architects, and contractors to ensure smooth execution.
- Oversee CAD drawings, site status reports, and ensure safety compliance.
- Manage installation, programming, testing, and commissioning of projects.
- Prepare and track project schedules using Gantt charts.
- Supervise rack building, equipment mounting, and coordinate with programmers.
- Complete projects with proper handover documents and support procurement needs.
