AV Design Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a skilled AV Design Engineer with hands-on experience in AutoCAD (2D & 3D), ETAP, and DIALux. This role involves delivering high-quality electrical design outputs, coordinating with clients and internal design team, and ensuring compliance with relevant engineering codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 3–7 years in electrical design for AV projects.
• Technical Proficiency:AutoCAD (2D & 3D), ETAP and DIALux, Strong understanding of MEP coordination and Working knowledge of electrical systems, protection studies, and circuit design

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical design projects on time while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Engage in regular discussions with clients (both internal and external) to ensure technical alignment and project satisfaction.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines for effective MEP integration
• Conduct engineering studies and analyses of technical drawings and specifications.
• Ensure designs comply with Electrical Engineering codes, CPWD specifications, and relevant standards.
• Perform detailed quality checks on drawings, reports, and design deliverables.
• Prepare and review the following: Load schedules, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and As-Built drawings Cable schedules, interconnection, and termination diagrams Earthing and lightning protection layouts, cable tray & raceway routing layouts Power and lighting layouts, and DB Details
• Conduct cable sizing, voltage drop, load flow, and short circuit calculations.
• Perform discrimination studies and layout engineering as per project requirements.
• Prepare design briefs, lighting designs using DIALux, and related technical documentation.
• Maintain strong knowledge of electrical circuiting, earthing systems, and ground grid calculations.
