Business Development Manager
Overview
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Business Development Manager to lead our
Government Sales team. The candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing business
opportunities within Central and State Government departments, PSUs, and other institutional clients, focusing on
AV system integration, digital communication, and technology-driven experience projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business Administration / Electronics (MBA preferred).
- 5–8 years of experience in Government or Institutional Sales, preferably in AV, system integration, IT infrastructure, or related industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue business opportunities in government and PSU sectors for AV system integration and turnkey projects.
- Track and respond to government tenders, RFPs, and empanelment opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with government stakeholders, consultants, architects, and system integrators.
- Work closely with the technical, design, and estimation teams to prepare proposals, BOQs, and presentations.
- Manage end-to-end tendering process – from bid submission to negotiation and closure.
- Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets through structured pipeline development.
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, seminars, and government events to promote products and services.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, project updates, and market insights to senior management.
- Ensure effective handover and coordination with execution teams post-order confirmation.
- Strong knowledge of government procurement processes, tendering, and GeM portal.
- Proven track record of managing high-value project-based sales.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and tender documentation.
- Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and project pursuits.
